For this task, we were asked to create a Greek-style temple using the loop cut tool.
First, I created a cube primitive for the base that was squashed vertically. Then, using the loop cut tool, I created four cuts so that the top of the cube was broken up into nine sections. Next, I moved the cuts so they were 5 units from the edge of each side. I then extruded the middle face up 5 units and repeated this process until I had the desired number of stairs.
Then, I created four identical cylinder primitives to form the pillars and then a cube for the roof, doing a similar process to the steps except creating a centre cut for the peaked roof.
